Precinct Three receives truck donation from DCP Midstream

Recently Hutchinson County Precinct Three received a donated previously leased F550 Ford Diesel truck from DCP Midstream to help aid grass fires throughout the Texas Panhandle.
The truck was donated to the Hutchinson County on November 30, 2011.
“ We share your imperative on ensuring our personnel are safe, well-prepared,and equipped to manage any situation,” said Ron Griffin, DCP Midstream Asset Director. “As one of the largest Midstream companies in the country, with a large footprint in Texas, we are appreciative of the value and contribution that local first responders serve in the communities in which we operate and where our employees live. We view first responders and emergency personnel as partners in ensuring the safety and security of our communities.”
Hutchinson County Precinct Three Commissioner Red Isbell said on behalf of himself, the men of Precinct Three and the Commissioner Court of Hutchinson County, They want to thank DCP Midstream for the donation of the truck.
“This contribution will fill the need for a better truck to fight the fires in the county,” he said.
The county will install a water tank and associated equipment on the track. It will then be used by the county to help volunteer fire departments.
