Post office to hold Passport Day March 10

The Borger Post Office is hosting a special passport event on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm to provide passport information to U.S. citizens and to accept passport applications. The Borger Post Office is joining the Department of State in celebrating Passport Day in the USA 2012, a national passport acceptance and outreach event.U.S. citizens must present a valid passport book when entering or re-entering the United States by air. U.S. citizens entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry must present a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. government. The Borger Post Office will offer standard processing (4-6 weeks) or expedited processing (2-3 weeks), for an additional $60.To ensure your passport application process goes smoothly, you will need the following:Application for U.S. Passport (DS 11).
