October 8, 2011

Plans are currently in the works for the Borger Chamber of Commerce Annual Christmas Parade.
The parade is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 5. Entry forms will be available starting on Nov. 1, at the Chamber of Commerce office, located at 613 North Main in Borger.
All entries will need to be decorated in a holiday motif and is asked to depict the Christmas season.
Beverly Benton, CEO of the Borger Chamber of Commerce, said businesses, clubs, churches, and individuals are invited to take part in this fun way to begin the Christmas season.
The Chamber of Commerce will also sponsor the business and residential Christmas lighting contest again this year. These forms will be available on Nov. 1 as well.
“The Chamber encourages all to participate by planning early,” Benton said.
