Plainsmen men’s basketball add 6-6 wing for 2011-12 season

August 11, 2011

On Monday morning Frank Phillips College Men’s Basketball Coach Chris Hackett announced that the team has added 6-6 wing David Hall to the Plainsmen’s 2011-12 roster.
Hall is a Lynwood, Calif. native who spent the past season playing for Yavapai College in Arizona where he averaged nine points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals per game.
Hall is transferring to Frank Phillips College due to Yavapai College dropping their men’s basketball program this spring.
On adding Hall, Hackett said, “I am excited he will be a part of our program. As well as being a very talented player, the most important thing that David will give us is experience. I feel fortunate to have been able to sign a player that was a major contributor at the college level last year. He will be one of the few veterans on a very young team.”
Hackett went on to describe Hall as a long athletic player who attacks the basket, rebounds well on both ends, and is a good defender.
