Plainsmen add two more to 2011-12 roster

June 28, 2011

Despite spending most of June overseas back home in England, Frank Phillips College Plainsmen Basketball Coach Chris Hackett has continued to add depth to his team’s roster for the 2011-12 season.
Last week, Hackett added two more players to the Plainsmen roster in 6-6 Earl Hill from Georgia and 6-0 Rodshard Davis, who hails from the Houston area.
Davis provides the Plainsmen with a good defender, who is a pass-first type point guard who can handle the ball very well.
Despite looking to get his teammates the ball, Hackett said Davis has the ability to score in bunches by being able to nail the three and get into the paint.
After spending his high school years as a post player, Hackett said Hill will be making the transition to playing wing at the college level. However, Hackett likes Hill’s ability to play strong going to the basket and getting in position to make rebounds.
The additions of Davis and Hill give the Plainsmen 12 signed players for the upcoming season.
