Pamela Janice Russell, 51, of Borger, died Friday, Nov. 30, 201,2 in Borger.
A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at the Church of Christ at Borger with Mr. Denny Sneed officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Pamela was born Feb. 10, 1961, in Wellington, Texas, to Roy Allen and Gloria Janice (Downs) Newman. She was a member of the Church of Christ at Borger, and had lived in Borger for over 40 years. Pamela retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a guard after working there for 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, going to church, and worshiping the Lord.
Survivors include her daughter Samantha Drake and husband Trevor of Fritch, her son Matthew Russell of Amarillo, a sister Kathy Hough and husband Jarrod of Amarillo, and two grandsons Paxton and Payton Drake.
Pamela is preceded in death by her mother Gloria Janice Newman, and a brother Allen Newman.
