Officials respond to wreck on Cedar

September 20, 2012

Officials responded to a wreck in the 200 block of Cedar Tuesday evening.
According to Lt. Anthony Griffin of the Borger Police Department, the first vehicle, a white Pontiac Bonneville driven by Kelby Loveless, 21, of Borger and carrying a female juvenile passenger, was traveling northbound on Cedar and attempted to make a left-hand turn into the McDonalds parking lot.
When doing so, the Pontiac was struck by a black Nissan two-door vehicle, driven by Zachary Snider, 18, of Borger, and carrying passenger Daniel White, 18, also of Borger.
Lt. Griffin said all occupants of the vehicles were wearing seat belts at the time of the wreck and all were transported to Golden Plains Community Hospital with minor injuries.
He said Loveless was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way making a left turn.
