Officers make arrest after responding to disturbance

Borger police officers made an arrest last week after responding to a disturbance on Moody Street.
On Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at approximately 3:33 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance in the 800 block of Moody Street involving two male subjects with possible weapons involved.
When officers arrived, an initial investigation was conducted into the disturbance. While investigating, a male subject, Matthew Shane Polster, 42, of Borger, was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics paraphernalia as well as possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Polster was then placed under arrest.
Once the investigation concluded, Polster was transported to the Borger Police Department and was processed and incarcerated in the City of Borger Jail Facility. He was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and cited for the illegal narcotic paraphernalia.
