NEWS: Don't get rounded up

February 27, 2013

Have a warrant? Well, this Friday is the last day to take care of them or you will be found and taken into custody.
If warrants are not taken care of by Friday officers will go to door-to-door to homes and workplaces and placing people for unattended warrants under arrest, who then will see the judge the next morning
This event is known at the Great Texas Warrant Round Up, which comes once each year through the Texas enforcement and municipal courts.
“Hutchinson County Justice of Peace Pct 1 and Pct. 2 and the Hutchinson County Clerk’s office are participating in the 6th Annual Great Texas Warrant Roundup.
“All offices are working with all law enforcement agencies in the State of Texas to make this successful,” said Shila Hart, Hutchinson County Justice of The Peace, precinct one.
The City of Borger has 1,998 active warrants totaling around $619,000.
It makes a big difference to take care of one’s warrants and the city offers many ways to pay off anything you owe, such as payment plans and community service.
Contact each court for information on how to pay warrants.
