New business requesting re-plat

A new business will be requesting a re-plat at the upcoming meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
The meeting is set to be held at 7 p.m. this evening in the city council chambers of Borger City Hall, 600 North Main.
The commission will receive and consider a request from CVS Pharmacy for a re-plat of Lots 4-11, Block 24, Unit 4, Thompson Addition, containing 1.303 acres, to be known as Lot 4, Block 24, Unit 4, Thompson Addition, 230 N. Cedar Street.
Also to be received and considered by the commission is a request from Jeff Whittington to re-zone 1.5 acres of land located in the SE/4 of Sect. 18, Block “Y”, M&C Survey, from single family (IF-2) zoning district to commercial zoning district to be known as 100 Denton.
The commission will consider and recommend names to replace three members, two whose term will expire and are ineligible to serve again, and one member who has resigned. All terms will expire on March 31, 2011.
Also to be considered will be minutes of the Aug. 10, 2010, public hearing.
