May 2, 2013

The community is invited to attend the 62nd annual National Day of Prayer ceremony on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at 12 p.m., at the Veteran’s Memorial in Huber Park.
This year’s theme is “Pray for America” and the Scripture is Matthew 12:21: “In His name the nations will put their hope.”
The 2013 Honorary Chair is Pastor Greg Laurie.
Local individuals will offer prayer on the seven points of prayer. These points are family, church, military, government, education, business and media.
Special music will be provided by the Ministerial Fellowship. Hot dogs and soft drinks will be provided.
Those who attend are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs.
