Murder mystery fundraiser to take place at LMAWM

March 8, 2012

Who doesn’t love a Murder Mystery Fundraiser?
Lake Meredith Aquatic and Wildlife Museum is preparing for its Third Annual Murder Mystery Fundraiser, set for Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 7-8:30 p.m., under the water tower at the museum in Fritch. Tickets for the event are a $6 donation per person and participants will get their name put into a drawing to win an original work by local artist Rita Sanderson.
Museum director Emily West says the event has been successful for the past two years.
This year’s theme is “Who Shot the Sheriff” and is set in the 1970s. As a mix and mingle event, guests are introduced to a scenario and the potential suspects. As the guests mingle with the suspects, they collect clues and allow them to make an educated guess as to who might have murdered the victim. For more information contact the museum at 857-2458. Reservations are required; however, guests will pay at the door. All proceeds go to the LaNelle Poling Memorial Fund. Refreshments will be served.
