Mobile Vet Center to be in Borger next Thursday

July 7, 2011

Local veterans are encouraged to come out to the Borger Summer Celebration next Thursday to visit the Mobile Vet Center, which will be making a visit to the event.
The vet center will be on site at Huber Park from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011, during the celebration festivities.
The center is open to all veterans, their families, and the general public. The center’s visit is being sponsored by the Amarillo Vet Center, located on Olsen Boulevard in Amarillo.
According to William Donaldson, Mobile Vet Center Counselor, the center is a place where veterans can receive insight about counseling pertaining to various issues.
“The event’s purpose is to provide information to veterans, their families, and general public about readjustment counseling services available for veterans with active duty combat trauma, active duty military sexual trauma, or families or deceased active duty service members,” he said.
