Melanie Gayle Whitten, 46, lost her long, hard fought battle with breast cancer and passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 in Amarillo, TX. She went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born February 18, 1965. She is survived by her four children. 2 sons, Jimmy Koch of the U.S Marines, Ryan Koch of Woodward, Ok and 2 daughters, Tiffany M. McDonald of Borger, TX and Jessica K. Thompson of El Reno, Ok. She also is survived by her 3 brothers Chuck Paris of Amarillo, TX., Ernie Whitten of Delaware, C.J Whitten of Raton, NM., 2 sisters, Shree Wikoff of Amarillo, TX., and Annie Valdez of Raton, NM.
