McKee advances to state rodeo finals in bull riding

Borger High School junior Aaron McKee will compete in the Texas High School State Finals Rodeo in June after becoming the Tri-State and Region One Bull Riding Champion.
Earlier this month, McKee won the region bull riding title at the Tri-State High School Rodeo in Vernon, with the competition drawing over 200 competitors from around West Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
The State Finals Rodeo will take place in Abilene the week of June 10-17th, drawing over 500 competitors from throughout Texas.
McKee has been competing in bull riding since he was four-years old and is active in Borger Bulldog athletics, competing in soccer and football.
