Margaret Ruth Culver December 22, 1916 – July 7, 2012Margaret Ruth Culver, 95 beloved and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister peacefully passed away July 7, 2012.Ruth was born December 22, 1916 in Bartlesville, OK to William and Hattie Almina Bebout. She married George Culver in 1937 and they lived in Kansas, Kentucky and Illinois before settling in Phillips where she lived for almost 50 years before moving to Plano. Ruth was an accomplished seamstress, an avid gardener and loved to travel. She enjoyed bridge, book club and golf. She worked at United Carbon in Borger for 22 years and J.M. Huber Co. in Borger for another 24 years. Proceeded in death by her husband of 47 years, George Culver, and her sisters Mary Alice Epps, Billie Jeune Swinney, and Helen Louise Flesner. She is survived by daughters Kay Wasson and husband Robert of Plano and Linda Smith and husband Greg of Columbus, OH; grandchildren Ron (Amanda) Wasson of Plano, Blake (Erin) Wasson of Chicago, Alison (Michael) Deleget of New York, Brooke (Rob) Kelly of Columbus, OH; great grandchildren Avery and Ryan Wasson, Jack and Olivia Wasson and Franklin Kelly. Ruth lived a long, full life and will be missed by her family and many special friends at Cottonwood Estates, Legacy at Willow Bend and Custer Road Methodist Church. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Borger, Texas. A family memorial service is planned for a later date.
