FRITCH - Lula “Faye” Andrews, 84, of Fritch, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, in Amarillo.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at the Broadway Baptist Church in Fritch with Rev. Bill Browning, Pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. at the Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Lula Faye Andrews was born Dec. 30, 1927, in Colorado City, Texas, to Nathan Orville Lynch and Myrtle May Lynch. She had been a Fritch resident since 1964, and was a member of the Broadway Baptist Church, and the Order of Eastern Star. Faye married Richard Joseph “Andy” Andrews on June 27, 1954, in Mineral Wells, and had been a cosmetologist.
Survivors include three sons, Wayne Engle and wife Waltraud of Fritch, James Andrews of Kenmore, Wash., Larry Andrews and wife Amy of Bullard, Texas; a daughter; Linda Engle of Richardson, Texas, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Faye is preceded in death by her husband Richard J. “Andy” Andrews on Nov. 15, 2010, parents, two sons, Roy and Richard Andrews, Jr., two brothers, and five sisters.
