Lottie Mae Sunderland, 83, of Oklahoma City, OK, formerly of Borger, passed away, Sunday, June 10, 2012 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Lottie Mae (Stafford) Sunderland was born September 1, 1928 in Gotebo, OK to James and Ruby (Glass) Stafford. She married Doyce Eugene Sunderland on December 30, 1947 in Wellington, TX. Lottie Mae retired from North Plains Hospital (now Golden Plains Community Hospital) as a dietitian.
Mrs. Sunderland is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, D.E. “Sunday” Sunderland and her sister, Lou Ella Smith.
Survivors include two sons, Alan Sunderland and wife, Susan of Fort Worth, TX and Del Sunderland and wife, Linda of Moore, OK; two daughters, Ellen Sunderland of Amarillo, TX and Vicki Stebbins and husband, Mark of Moore, OK; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; two brothers, Dwayne Stafford of Fort Worth, TX and Jerry Stafford and wife, Gaye of Troy, TX; and one sister, Collene Rockhold of Eagles Nest, NM.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM, Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Church of Christ at Borger with Richard Kasko and Denny Sneed officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery in Borger, TX.
Mrs. Sunderland will lie in state at Brown Chapel Of The Fountains in Borger, TX on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 8:00AM to 8:00PM and Friday, June 16, 2012 from 8:00AM to 11:00AM.
