Lois Hawley

Lois Hawley, 93, of Amarillo died on Thursday, March 31, 2011.
Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. with Tommy Anderson, Minister at Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Hawley was born on July 14, 1917 in McComb County, Mississippi to Albert and Flora Harbin. She was a member of Northridge Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Hawley and three daughters, Joyce Clark, Carol Brazeal and Mary Ann Hawley.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Wilkinson of Borger, Janet Ham and husband Bill of Amarillo, Rita Nelon and husband Scott of Amarillo; three sons, Lonnie Eugene Hawley and wife Betty of Borger, Robert Hawley and wife Margaret of Mineola, Texas and John Hawley and wife Nancy of Amarillo; a sister, Zelma Wood of Borger; twenty-eight grandchildren, fifty-eight great grandchildren and thirty-five great-great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to the High Plains Children’s Home, 11461 S. Western St. Amarillo, TX 79118.
