Local youth bowlers take first place in state tournament

September 5, 2011

Back in June, 31 local youth bowlers traveled to Dallas to take part in the state bowling tournament. Several of the bowlers made great showings including five taking first place in their divisions.
Pictured are the first place winners: (Back l to r) Casey Taylor, Camren Witt, Josh Howell (Front l to r) Kaisha Wortham, and Ashley Henderson. Each of the bowlers received a $125 scholarship.
It is time for the Borger youth league to start up again. Sign ups will take place on September 10th from 10:00 a.m.-noon at Wildcatters and the league will start on September 17th at 10:00 a.m.
Any questions about the youth league can call 886-7871.
