A "Legal Checkup for Nonprofits" workshop is planned in Borger on Wednesday, February 24. The workshop will teach the important steps in making a nonprofit organization legal and efficient. The workshop is free and runs from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Frank Phillips College A&I Conference Center located at 901 Opal Street in Borger. The program is co-sponsored by the Hutchinson County United Way and Borger Chamber of Commerce.

Numerous laws govern the operations of non-profits. The workshop is designed to provide a legal checkup for non-profits, covering legal issues relating to corporate governance and compliance. Reservations for the workshop are requested by calling 274-5662 or 274-2211.
