Local officials respond to weekend trailer fire

Local officials from across the area responded to a trailer fire this weekend.
A double-wide and surrounding structures caught fire on Saturday afternoon starting around 2:30 p.m. and lasting until 4:35 p.m.
According to Fritch Fire Chief and Investigator Ed Adamson, the fire took down three outbuildings, two vehicles, three acres of grassland. The double-wide trailer home on the 400 block of Brooks was completely totaled.
The fire was caused by a electrical short in the unoccupied house. No injuries were reported.
Fritch Fire, EMS, Police Department, and Support services were on scene. Also on scene was Borger Fire Department, the Carson County Sheriff's office and the Hutchinson County Sheriff's Office.
