Local citizens give of their time to bash the trash

Local citizens have been getting out and bashing the trash during the City of Borger’s Trash Bash week, taking place through Oct. 1. Among those working to keep the City of Borger clean are Cathy West, Tobie Slaybaugh, Jessica Ford, Carissa Wells, Tammie Bridwell, and Melinda Hudson. The City of Borger is sponsoring the week for county residents to bring their trash for free to the transfer station. Tire disposal will not have a limit during this week. The transfer station will be open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the tree limb disposal area will be open the same hours on the same days.
