Lady Comanches top Lady Eagles 12-6

On Monday afternoon, the West Texas High Lady Comanches got the 12-6 win over the Sanford-Fritch Lady Eagles in non-district softball action.
In the top of the second inning, the Lady Eagles put the first run on the scoreboard. But the Lady Comanches responded by scoring four runs in the second and two runs in the third inning to build a 6-1 lead.
The Lady Eagles tried to rally by scoring four runs in the top of the fourth inning.
But the Lady Comanches stayed in control of the game by adding six more runs in the fifth and sixth innings for the win.
Devin DeLapp had two doubles and two RBIs and Taylor Kirksey had three RBI’s for the Lady Comanches.
Hailey Wilson and Jaylea Leatherman had doubles for the Lady Eagles.
In the pitcher’s circle, Abby Summers got the win for the Lady Comanches and Tiffani Hester got the loss for the Lady Eagles.
