The West Texas Lady Comanches hosted the Lady Cyclones of Memphis Saturday afternoon in their last home appearance. It took four, but WT High kept their District recorded unblemished 25-19, 24-26, 25-17, and 25-18. The Lady Tribe has already clinched the District Crown for the second year in a row. The team is talented at every position and are gearing up for a run in the post season.
Cheyenne Tull and Sarah Kelley were almost unstoppable at the net. Tull had seventeen kills and Kelley fifteen. On the defensive side of the net, Kelley had five blocks while Tull had three. These two ladies are a big part of the team’s success. They are beasts at the net.
Abby Summers led the team in assists with twenty five. Elyssa Snider was the team leader in digs with nineteen and Summers had seventeen.
Rachel Wallace served two aces. Bekah Wallace and Abbey Rios were responsible for some great defensive plays. Devin DeLapp, Erin Summers, Madison Heston, Hailee Flaharity, and Lani Hazle made additional key plays for the Lady Comanches cause.
West Texas has won ten out of their last eleven matches.
