Keeping Fritch schools cool

January 14, 2012

The Sanford-Fritch ISD Board of Trustees has called a special meeting for Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the SFISD Administration Building Board Room. Trustees will consider or approve the “Cool Schools” Grant construction contract with Trane Company. This grant helps public schools replace old, inefficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Superintendent Jim McClellan, stated the grant gave the district about $450,000 to replace HVAC systems for all three campuses in the district, excluding the gyms and Administration offices.
Trustees will also go over Texas Government Code Section 551.074 (Discussing Personnel or to hear complaints against personnel) and discuss the superintendent’s evaluation, contract and compensation in an executive session.
