Graveside services for Kathy Mills were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Antioch Christian Church Cemetery with viewing 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial was in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery. Newton County Funeral Home South, 100 Old Highway 15 Loop, Newton, MS, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Mills, 54, of Meridian, MS, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, in Meridian, MS.
She enjoyed the outdoors and played golf. She also enjoyed sewing and crafts. She loved her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Norman Bauert.
Survivors include her husband David Mills of Little Rock, MS, her mother Nelda Alexander Bauert, sons, Eric Mills of Pampa, Casey Mills of Little Rock, MS; and Cole Mills (Amy), of Hollywood, Fla.; sisters, Donna Carlson (Chester), and Kim Payne (Jeff); brother Ken Bauert (Janet); and grandchildren, Shiloh, Sheyenne, Skylar, and Kayla.
