STINNETT - Kathleen Alice Stokes, 74, of Stinnett died Saturday Oct. 1, 2011, in Borger.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday Oct. 6, 2011, at Stinnett Cemetery with Rev. Bill Sizemore, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be at Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Kathleen was born May 26, 1937, at Newberry, Mich., to Joel and Elna Carlson Streeter. She married Donald Edward Stokes Jr. on Aug. 11, 1956 at Newberry, Mich. Her passion was taking care of her family. She loved life and her husband. She was a beautiful and strong person, devoted wife and mother. She had been a Stinnett resident for eight years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Louis Streeter.
She is survived by her husband Donald Stokes Jr. of Stinnett, sons, Kenneth Stokes of Newberry, Mich. and Donald Stokes III of Stinnett; grandchildren Travis Stokes, Ian Stokes and Nicholas Stokes, and five great-grandchildren.
