Joshua Adam Gatlin, 21, of Ponder, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011. He was born Aug. 1, 1989, in Denton, TX. He graduated from Ponder High School in 2006 and Lincoln Tech in 2007. He was employed by Morrison Milling in Denton.
Josh is survived by his parents, Minnie and Rowdy Hennegan of Ponder, Joe and Cathy Gatlin of Brisco, daughter, Jessie Ann Gatlin of Ponder, sisters, Crystal Hennegan, Tabitha Clay, Candida Clay, Holly Dartt, MaKayla Looper, brothers, Rusty Edward Taylor, Dahlon Pruett, Shane Bennett, Brandon Bennett, Shawn Bennett and Sam Looper, grandparents, James and Jewel Jenkins of Ponder, Harold and Sharon Bertrand of Panhandle and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by an uncle, James “J.D.” Jenkins.
The family will receive visitors Tuesday night from 6 to 8 at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Rev. Brandon Henderson officiating. Burial will be at the Eakins Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Sam Erwin, Michael Elkins, John Paul Jenkins, Randy Gatlin, Matt Gruble, John Scholl, Brandon Dodson and Shawn Bennett.
