John Whitfield, 57, of Fritch, passed away, Sunday, June 12, 2011.
John Whitfield was born Friday, May 7, 1954 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Billy Joe and Patricia (Caldwell) Whitfield. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stinnett and a member of the Meredith Gun Club & the NRA.
He is preceded in death by his father and a brother Steven Michael Whitfield
Survivors include his mother, Pat; 2 daughters, Jessica Garrett & Lance, Macheal Leasure & Brandon; 2 sons, Marc Blackwell, Ty Whitfield; 2 brothers, Darryll Whitfield, Joey Whitfield and 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Stinnett, TX. Burial will follow at Stinnett Cemetery.
John will lie in state at the Fritch Chapel, 8:00AM to 8:00PM, Wednesday June 15, 2011
