Jimmy “Footsie” Edyth Brown Sr.

SANFORD - Jimmy “Footsie” Edyth Brown Sr. went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 31, at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Jimmy was born July 8, 1933 in Borger. He was a lifelong resident of Hutchinson County and was well known in the area as a hardworking man in the oil patch. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Maudie Mae Brown; Three sons, Jackie Brown and wife Vicki of Amarillo, Ronald Kenyon and wife Kathy of Fritch, and Jimmy Brown Jr. and wife Tami of Borger; Two daughters, Kimberly (Kenyon) Parker of Fritch and Christine (Brown) Nugent and husband Jason of Joplin, Missouri; Sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Jess Farrell and Pearl Mable Brown; Two sisters Jesse Short and Ida Mae Wright. The family will be staying at 402 Vaughn in Fritch.
