James Glen Whitmire

James Glen Whitmire, 54, of Borger died Saturday, August 31, in Borger. Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 7, at Grace Church, with Sr. Pastor Marshall Ford officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
James was born in Borger to James and DeLores Whitmire in June of 1959. He was a lifetime resident of Borger and was the owner of Roadrunner Trucking. James loved to work on cars and machinery. He loved woodworking, Harley’s, the Yankees, and golf.
James is survived by his sons, Michael Whitmire and his fiancée, Lacy Davis , Matthew Whitmire, and Hunter Whitmire all of Borger; one daughter, Mallee Whitmire also of Borger; sisters, Carolyn Whitmire of Houston, and Violet Allbright of San Angelo; and two grandchildren, Aiden Whitmire and Taylon Whitmire.
