HutchCares banquet set for Tuesday
The HutchCares Living at Home Appreciation Banquet is coming up this Tuesday March 22, 2011 at 7 p.m. in the Fairlanes Baptist Church, 3000 Fairlanes Blvd. There will be a silent auction at 6:30pm that all guests are eligible to participate in. There will also be live entertainment. HutchCares is an organization of volunteers that help the senior citizens of the community to have the chance to stay living at home by providing help with everyday items and tasks that are needed such a as reading, shopping, visits, mail management, ramps and railings, transportation when needed, and much more. HutchCares is always seeking more volunteers that are wanting to help those who need it. Volunteers are paired with one or two clients, so that the client can look forward to seeing them and the volunteer can become a part of their daily routine without worrying about major changes every time. All the community is invited to this banquet. There will be free admission for volunteers and their spouses and admission is $10 for non-volunteers.
