Helen Bybee Stanford, 66, of Amarillo died Thursday, January 10, 2013 in Amarillo.
Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Ken Haney, chaplain of Interim Hospice officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St.
Ms. Stanford was born on March 23, 1946 in Borger, to Joseph and Bonita Bybee. She worked as a beautician at Hair Classic in Borger and also taught cosmetology at Frank Phillps Community College in Borger. She moved to Amarillo in 1991.
Ms. Stanford was a born again Christian. She loved her family and was an avid reader. She was very fond of animals and loved watching crime shows on television. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Wayne Bybee.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Renee Pate and her husband Brett of Amarillo and Dena Stanford of Dallas; 1 son Larry Stanford and his wife Jennifer of Borger; 2 brothers, Harold Bybee of Borger and Ed Bybee and his wife Sharon of Sanford; 6 grandchildren, Madison, Michael, Daphne, Brayson, Michaela and Kailee.
