The Hutchinson County Crisis Center is set to host its annual telethon.
This yearâ€™s telethon will be the best yet, with plans in the works to auction off a Borger Police Officer to almost everything under the sun.
The telethon is held once a year to raise needed funds for the HC3 program and to help child and adult victims of sexual assault and family violence.
This yearâ€™s telethon is Saturday, July 28, 2012 in the Phillips Building, 300 W. 6th Street from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Admission for this event will be free and there will be door prizes along with a silent auction and guest speaker.

HC3 was formed in 1995.
This agency was funded initially by community donations from its first telethon, which raised almost $25,000.
Today, with a budget over $300,000, the agency continues to grow, annually increasing the client base, services provided, and services available.
