Green named new Athletic Director of Clarendon College

Thursday afternoon, former Frank Phillips College Athletic Director John Green was officially named the new Athletic Director for Clarendon College.
Green said he liked the direction and growth Clarendon College has seen in recent years and is excited to have the opportunity to lead the college's athletic program.
Green was relieved of his duties as Athletic Director of Frank Phillips College back in on February 28th.
Green had served as FPC Athletic Director for 13 years and since 2000, the athletic program had seen 18 NJCAA All-Americans, 27 NJCAA Academic All-Americans and three top NJCAA Academic Teams of the Year in 2002, 2004, and 2005.
During this time, Frank Phillips College teams have had 12 NJCAA National Tournament appearances and numerous Region V and WJCAC Conference Championships.
For the past four years, Green also had served as golf team coach, leading them to four consecutive appearances at the national championship tournament and top 20 in the national standings.
Clarendon College competes against Frank Phillips College in the Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) in volleyball, baseball and softball.
Clarendon College has competed as an independent in men's and women's basketball the past two years.
