Give to the Salvation Army this Christmas season

December 12, 2011

The Borger Salvation Army has Red Kettles set up at Walmart, Lowes, and United in Borger and at Lowes in Fritch from now through Christmas Eve.
The organization is also in the midst of its Angel Tree program. This year, the program is running through Monday, Dec. 19, at Walmart. Those represented on the tree are from families who have previously applied for Christmas assistance through the Social Services program of the Salvation Army.
After choosing an Angel and purchasing the gifts, the Angels are returned to the Angel Tree location and distributed to the families during the Salvation Army’s annual Toy Shop. Angel Tree Toy Distribution will take place on Dec. 21-22 from 2-5 p.m. at the Borger Salvation Army Store.
For more information on any of these ways to give this Christmas season, contact the Borger Salvation Army at 273-2491.
