Give a home to an animal that needs it

May 25, 2012

Every forgotten animal needs a good place to call home and someone to call family.
Coming up on Monday, June 2, 2012, Borger Animal Control and Troop 31 BSA will host “All Pets in the Panhandle” as an Eagle Scout Project.
This event will take place in front of Wal-Mart in Borger.
Also, the North Shore Adoption Bus – associated with North Shore Animal League and National Dog Mill Rescue - will be on hand.
The North Shore Animal League rescues animals from overcrowded shelters, unwanted litters, and from owners no longer able to care for them and is the world’s largest “no-kill” animal rescue and adoption organization.
The National Dog Mill Rescue’s mission is, “To rescue, rehabilitate and re-home discarded breeding dogs and to educate the general public about the cruel realities of the commercial dog breeding industry.”
Also attending this event will be multiple vendors, offering services such as nail clipping, treats, pet jewelry and a variety of other options.
All rescued animals of Borger and surrounding areas will be available for adoption at this event. For more information, call 273-0973.
