The Fritch Area Chamber of Commerce is prepping for its annual banquet.
The banquet will be held from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at the Sanford-Fritch Junior High School cafeteria on Eagle Boulevard.
Tickets for the event are $11 for adults and $6 for kids and under. Tio Panchos of Fritch will be catering the banquet and the menu will include chicken and beef fajitas and all the trimmings, along with a drink and dessert.
Tickets for the event are available at Tio Panchos, Lowe’s Grocery, Pantex Federal Credit Union and Daylight Donuts. They can also be purchased from any Chamber of Commerce member. The deadline for purchasing tickets is Thursday, March 22.
Cowboy Ken Lewing will be serving as emcee for the event and will provide a portion of the entertainment along with other local talent. The 2012 Man and Woman of the Year will be announced and honored and there will be door prizes throughout the evening.
Once again, there will be a silent auction held as a fundraiser for the Chamber of Commerce. A variety of auction items for men, women, and children have been donated by local merchants for the event.
In addition, chamber members are raffling off $100 in groceries courtesy of Lowe’s Grocery in Fritch. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5 and will be available the night of the banquet until time for the drawing. Tickets are also available from any member of the chamber.
For further information on the banquet, securing tickets for the meal or the drawing or to donate items for the silent auction, contact chamber president Vicki Wilson at 898-4109, vice-president Gene McCallie at 282-7026 or secretary Judy Allen at 674-6460.
