Over the weekend the Frank Phillips College Plainsmen kept their hopes of claiming one of the WJCAC playoff spots alive by splitting their four-game series with Midland College.
After dropping both games on Saturday 9-2 and 6-5 in 10 innings, the Plainsmen rebounded to win both games on Sunday, 8-7 and 14-12.
The Plainsmen will next travel to Snyder this weekend for a big series with Western Texas College.
