Find the perfect gift at Vintage Pearl

December 17, 2012

Shawna Lamb, owner of Vintage Pearl, is ready to help customers find that perfect gift for that special someone during the holidays.

The holidays are just around the corner. People are frantically shopping for last minute gift items. The best place to get last minute gift items are locally owned businesses. Not only does shopping locally bring christmas joy to the small business owners it makes the whole community happy.
This year why not trying a few new business in town? One in particular is the Vintage Pearl. It is a Boutique shop that isnot only “classy,” it is also “vintage” and very unique in its own way.
Shop owner Shawna Lamb opened her store to the public in July of 2012.
During the holiday season, Vintage Pearl offers a few fun things to look out for, such as its Christmas countdown. Every day, a new sale will be posted to the Vintage Pearl Facebook page. Something else offered for the holiday is a wish list for women. Women can come in and fill out a wish list for their husbands or boyfriends to come in and look at. Once you purchase a gift for someone or even a gift for yourself they will wrap it for you at no charge.
Lamb's main goal when opening her business was to help people and offer a laid back and convent shopping experience. “I feel there has been a void for women's clothing here – a nice place a, a little boutique to get gifts. I just want to be that place that everybody thinks, if you need to get a gift that this is the perfect place to go get it. I want to have fun stuff that is a bit different from everywhere else,” said Lamb.
Before becoming a business owner Lamb was a high school teacher for four years at Borger High School. She holds a Bachelors in Agriculture Business and a Master's degree in Agriculture.
“I love clothes and I love to shop and I like to help people put together outfits. I've had a couple of friends who have opened their own stores. I've had the chance to go help them with theirs. I just like to help people. So I just went for it. It's has taken a lot of work to put it all together. My family and friends spent a lot of hours helping me put it together,” Lamb explained.
The Vintage Pearl offers a very laid back and comfortable environment for all shoppers and husbands that tag along. The boutique is equipped with an area in the back of the store provides men who want to come in with their wives , but don't want to shop, TV entertainment while she shops or kids can sit back there and watch cartoons while they enjoy complimentary water and coffee.
Vintage Pearl offers a range of tops from sizes XS to XXL (depending on the top) anywhere from $25 to $50 and denim jeans up to size 15 for $40 to $60. There are also a few accessories to choose from and many other holiday purchases are available such as Brighton brand Items and home décor.
