MEMORIAL SERVICE: 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2013 at Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Chester Beavers officiating.

BIOGRAPHY: Ray was born on March 20, 1952 in Borger to G.W. and Ruth Jordan. He attended Borger High School, where he was known for his talent in playing baseball. He graduated in 1971. He was employed at ASARCO for almost 20 years as a forklift operator. Ray was a good friend to many and reliable to his friends in need. He enjoyed playing pool and was an avid Texas Longhorns fan.

SURVIVORS: son, Justin Jordan and wife Danielle of Houston; 2 sisters, Dewana Yarborough and Sharon Stottlemyre and husband Danny of Borger; granddaughter, Trystan Jordan of Amarillo; grandson, Brant Jordan of Houston; 2 uncles, Utah Jordan and wife Inella of Amarillo and Dudley Haney and wife Mary of Branson, MO; niece, Christi Taylor and nephews, Greg Stottlemyre and Jonathon Yarborough.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: parents and 3 brothers, Roy and Roger Montrose and Larry Jordan.
