F. A. Lamb, 77, of Bartlesville, Okla.passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 2:00 a.m. in Jane Phillips Medical Center due to complications of Inclusion Body Myositis.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Bartlesville with Dr. Joe Dan Fowler officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 17th at the funeral home.

F.A. Lamb was born August 18, 1933 in Gassville, AR to Uial Tillman and Nina Georgia Fay (Marler) Lamb.
The family moved to Borger, TX when F.A. was young and he attended Spring Creek School and Borger High School where he graduated at age 16.
He continued his education at Frank Phillips Junior College in Borger before transferring to West Texas State College and graduating with a BBA in Business Management.
He started his career with Phillips Petroleum Co. in a gasoline plant before enlisting in the US Army where he was a prison guard at Fort Leavenworth, KS.
Upon being discharged from the military, he returned to work for Phillips in Bartlesville where he worked in the Treasury Department as an Analyst.
On July 24, 1959 he married Anna Jo â€śJodyâ€ť Reid in Bartlesville.
In 1967 he was transferred to Sealright Co. in Kansas City, MO where he worked as a Credit Manager before being transferred to Fulton, NY.
He then returned to the parent company, Phillips Petroleum in Bartlesville. He worked in Corporate Engineering and Corporate Services doing Planning and Budgeting work before retiring in 1993 with 38 years of dedicated service.
F.A. was a member of the First Baptist Church and Bartlesville Masonic Lodge #284.
He served as Vice President of the Oglesby Volunteer Fire Department, on the board of directors of the Washington County Rural Water District and the Washington County Fair Board. F.A. was an avid hunter and fisherman.
F.A. is survived by his wife Jody of the home. One son, John David Lamb and wife Delia of Bartlesville and daughter, Sheila and husband James Todd Hicks of Richmond Hill, GA.
He was blessed with five grandchildren; Christopher Lamb, Deborah Lamb, Courtney Hicks, Hannah-Paige Hicks and Tanner Hicks. Two brothers; Jim Lamb and wife Helen of Sunray, TX and Preston Lamb and wife Linda of Pampa, TX. One sister, Vivian Sue Dolan of Pampa, TX, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Harold Lamb and brother-in-law J.O. Dolan.
