Edward Hubert Canter, 74, died Thursday, June 30, 2011, in Amarillo.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 4, 2011, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Cremation was under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Canter was born on Oct, 3, 1936, in Troy, Mo. He worked for several construction companies and was a security guard for different companies. He was an Ice Cream man from 1996 to 2000, and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
He married Margaret Ann Jefferson on Feb. 14, 1965.
He was a loving father and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Ann of the home; three sons, Keson Canter of Borger, Shane Canter of Dayton, and Gene Canter of California, Mo., three daughters, Arona Canter Knight of Borger, Wanda Canton Carey of California, Mo., and Lynette Canter Peterson of of Wright City, Mo., brother Terry Canter of Florida, three sisters, JoAnn Whitson of Rosharon, and Barbara Delvillano and Susie Canter, both of Florida.
