Dustin John West

December 19, 2013

Dustin John
West, 26, passed
from this life December
13, 2013 in Stinnett, Tx.
A memorial service will
be held at 2:00p.m. Friday,
December 20, at
Bible Baptist Church.
He was born to Bobby
Jack West and Shannon
Hargues on March
30, 1987.
As a child Dustin played little league sports and made All-Stars each year he played football.
He grew up quick and missed out on a lot of normal teenage life. He was human and, like
most of us, was no saint. The path he chose led to a rough life but through the trials he found
God and had a deep faith and love for Jesus Christ.
He was always very polite and kind and cared for others. He was well known for his generosity;
giving the shirt off of his back or his last dollar to a complete stranger. Most who knew
him grew to love him deeply and would agree that he was special.
Dustin worked in the oil field starting out as a very young child and later became a carpenter’s
apprentice.
I am as proud today to be his father as I’ve ever been. I did not agree with some of his
decisions, but my love for him only got stronger. I have faith that one day all questions will be
answered and we will spend eternity together with our family.
Fly with the angels, son, you are finally free forever and in the presence of our lord and
savior Jesus Christ.
Dustin was preceded in death by his Papa Jimmy Hargues.
He is survived by his fiancee Lacey Mann and her daughter Cheyenne; his mother Shannon
Hargues; his father Bobby Jack West; grandparents Teddy and Joyce West and Emily Hargues;
brother Bobby Jack West Jr.; sisters Brandi West, Blaze West, and Autumn West; niece Alexus
Bustillios; nephew Blake Ian West Ashby; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends
who will cherish his memory forever.
