Drop boxes available for box-tops and pull tabs for local school fundraising efforts

November 4, 2011

Box-top and pull-tab drop boxes are available at designated areas in Borger as part of fundraising efforts taking place by local schools.
The PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) have begun to organize drop boxes for box-tops and aluminum pull tabs at Pizza Duo and United.
For every box-top given the school receives $.10.
Children from Paul Belton, Gateway, and Crockett schools will collect aluminum pull tabs to give to the Ronald McDonald House.
Lydia Edwards, a parent from the PTO stated, “It’s a good way to teach the children to contribute charity and raising money.”
This fundraiser has begun and will run throughout the end of April.
