Drag Main for a Cause
Ever since Borgans dragged Main Street on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012 it is becoming a monthly occurrence every second Saturday of the month. Only now it is for a good cause. Citizens of the county will hop in their cars and cruise Main or park and enjoy some fall festivities.A majority of this Saturday’s donations will go towards the The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. AFSP is the leading national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those affected by suicide. Some proceeds will also go to local families suffering from a loss due to suicide.Last month’s Good Ol’ Main Street Drag ~ For A Cause was hosted on behalf of Chelsea Brantwein and her family to help them financially.
