Diana Hooks, 54, of Stinnett, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 8, 2012 in the home of her twin sister, Deana.
Diana Fay Hysmith Hooks was born October 5, 1957 (along with her twin sister, Deana) at North Plains Hospital in Borger, TX to Travis and Lorraine (Addis) Hysmith. Mrs. Hooks resided in Hutchinson County all of her life. She graduated from Borger High School in 1976. She worked for Frank J. Smith Insurance and then went to work for the Hutchinson County Appraisal District where she was Chief Appraiser. Diana married Billy Hooks on November 27, 1992 in Stinnett, TX. She attended Faith Christian Fellowship Church.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Hooks of Stinnett, TX; her parents, Travis and Lorraine Hysmith of Amarillo, TX; her twin sister, Deana Greene and husband Lloyd of Borger, TX; her brother, Larry "Buffalo" Hysmith and wife, Danna of Fritch, TX; her sister, Connie Neely and husband, Darrell of Amarillo, TX; nieces and nephews, Terri Lynn, Nisey Jo, Melissa, Adam, Cody, April, Bessie, Damon, Billy Jack, Ferrian, Dusty and Misty; twelve great nieces and nephews; and one great-great niece.
Diana had a loving relationship with her extended family to which she leaves her love and blessings.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Faith Christian Fellowship Church, 415 E. Gardner, Borger, TX with Terry Corbin officiating. Burial will follow at Stinnett Cemetery.
Mrs. Hooks will lie in state at Brown Chapel Of The Fountains in Borger on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, and Wednesday July 11, 2012, from 8:00AM to 8:00PM.

The family will be staying at 400 Eagle Blvd in Fritch, TX.
