Comedian David Ferrell is set to provide the entertainment at this yearâ€™s Borger Chamber of Commerce banquet.
The banquet is set to be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012, in the Borger Community Activity Center on the campus of Frank Phillips College.
For over 20 years, Ferrell has been showing audiences that comedy can be clean as well as funny. He is a three-time nominee for Inspirational Comedian of the Year by the Inspirational Country Music Awards, has been heard on Sirius/XM â€śLaugh USA,â€ť and has been named as one of five â€śHot Acts in Americaâ€ť by Event Solutions Magazine.
Ferrell is a multi-time nominee for Comedy Act of the Year by the Inspirational Country Music Awards, having shared the honor with Mark Lowry, Dennis Swanberg, Chonda Pierce, and some of the biggest names in clean comedy.
He was also named one of â€śFive Hot Corporate Actsâ€ť by Event Solutions Magazine along with â€śAmericaâ€™s Got Talentâ€ť winner Terry Fator. TV star Frank Caliendo, and the Blue Man Group.
His performance is 100 percent clean and is suitable for all ages and backgrounds. He has performed for numerous Fortune 500 companies, including Proctor & Gamble, IBM, Nortel, and The Gap.
He has entertained audiences at venues ranging from Trumpâ€™s Castle in Atlantic City to universities and comedy clubs all over the country.
Ferrell has done several civic functions and numerous churches across the country, and is actively involved in fund raisers for schools, hospitals, and non-profit organizations.
