Damon Matthew Dacus, 28, died Sept. 26, 2012, in Dumas.
Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Borger with Pastor Doug Washburn of New Life Community Church in Palestine, TX, officiating.
Damon was born March 2, 1984, in Amarillo to David and Cheryl Washburn Dacus. He graduated from Borger High School in 2002. He was a member of First Baptist Church and worked as an Install Technician for Winkelman Heating and Air in Dumas. Damon was a lifetime resident of this area, he loved to play the guitar and sing and was a talented artist and writer. He was very loyal to his friends and family.
Damon is survived by his parents David and Cheryl Dacus of Borger, his grandparents C. E. and Bess Washburn of Borger and E. T. Dacus of Fritch, his two sisters Angela Wakefield and husband Sam of Dumas and Emily Rios and husband Jose of El Paso, TX; his niece Aralyn Wakefield and nephew Sterling Dacus, and many cousins, aunts and uncles who loved him.
